Village Treasurer Genorise Carmichael
Genorise Carmichael
Genorise Carmichael was appointed and sworn in as Sauk Village Treasurer in October, 2009.
As Village Treasurer, Genorise serves as supervisor of the Treasurer’s office. Genorise is a member of the Police and Fire Pension Board; serving as custodian of Municipal funds/Maintaining and Monitoring Policemen and Firemen’s Pension Fund investments. Genorise is proud to provide her services to the residents of Sauk Village.
As a Sauk Village resident since 1997, Genorise resides with her husband Dennis , and her son Dennis Jr.
Genorise has always enjoyed working with the public, with a special compassion for working with children. Genorise often volunteers her time at the Ronald McDonald House, to assist families with sick children. Genorise also served as a very active parent with Bloom Township’s PTA of Jefferson Elementary School. With Genorise’s concern for the citizens of Sauk Village, she’s also one of the original members of the “Concerned Citizens of Sauk Village Association”.
Genorise has over 30 years of corporate experience. Her years of experience includes working within the Financial Industry (supporting IT applications), with expanded experience in the Insurance Industry and IT Project Management/Coordination.
Genorise received her Associates Degree in Computer Science from Loop College, with continued education at DePaul University, towards her Bachelor’s Degree.
Genorise is a member of the Cosmopolitan Chamber of Commerce, Chicago, IL with Certificate of Completion in Finance, Business Management and Investments.
