Here's a list of the information and services for businesses currently in Sauk Village or looking to move to Sauk Village.

Due to Governor JB Pritzner’s, Stay At Home Executive Order, home inspections for re-occupancy are on a per case basis, as housing is deemed essential.

If you are selling a property with a definite closing date, the application can be emailed to twilliams@saukvillage.org Once we receive the application you will receive a call from the Village Hall to pay over the phone.

 

If you need a certificate of re-occupancy and the rental unit is empty, you can submit the application for re-occupancy and the inspector will contact you to setup a time for the inspection.

 

If you need a certificate of re-occupancy and the house is occupied, you can submit the application for re-occupancy and a will be given 5 days after the Village re-opens to schedule the inspection.

 

If the owner/landlord is not comfortable, because of COVID-19 and you need to move someone in a property without an inspection, you will be given 5 days after the Village re-opens to apply and schedule the inspection for the certificate of re-occupancy.

 

PERMITS:

 

PLEASE SUBMIT THE PERMIT APPLICATION TO TWILLIAMS@SAUKVILLAGE.ORG  Once the permit is submitted via email, the work can be performed.  You have 5 days after the Village re-open to pay for and pickup the permit.
