The general fund is the general operating fund of the Village. It is used to account for all financial resources except those required to be accounted for in another fund. The General Fund consists of the following departments; Finance and Administration, Elected Officials, Public Grounds and Buildings, Police, Community Development, Fire and ESDA, Streets, Parks and Playgrounds, Municipal Audit, Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF), and Liability Insurance.
