Public Relations/Website Committee

The Sauk Village Public Relations committee is a volunteer based committee chaired by Trustee Rosie Williams.

PR Committee
Greetings from the Public Relations Committee.  We have been really busy lately! Like many other citizens, we have decided to take time out to show our appreciation for our employees.  We took the time to thank them for all of the hard work and dedication that they have put into our Village.  On August 3rd, the Police Department battled the Fire Department in a Battle of the Badges softball game.  It was an awesome time of friendship and rivalry that was all in good fun.  Both sides definitely came to play, but in the end there could only be one winner.   The Police Department wrestled away a 28-26 victory. Talks of a rematch began before the game even started.  The guys and girls were ready to play!  We thank all residents and employees who came out to play, watch and help out!!!  A huge thank you to Trustee John Poskin, chair of the Parks and Recreation committee and Mrs. Debra Poskin, for coming out and running the concession stand that day!!

We are also starting to work on our favorite project Student Government Day.  We are in the process of picking an essay topic for the 8th graders of Sauk Village to write about. This is always a great time for us.  We really enjoy reading the thoughts of the youth of Sauk Village and watching them participate in the day’s events.  We are also working on a new project that we hope to have all of the issues ironed by the next Sauk Talk.  Be sure to look for updates on our new project as well as Student Government Day on www.saukvillage.org.
